Responsibilities
  • Anesthetize patients using a variety of techniques and medications
  • Select and administer medications for anesthesia and emergency treatment
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust medications as needed
  • Communicate effectively with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals
  • Assess patient status and take corrective measures to maintain a stable pre, peri, and post-anesthesia environment
  • Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations and chart patient information accurately
  • Organize and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment
  • Respond to codes and maintain patient airway
  • Provide anesthesia support to assigned areas and serve as a resource for colleagues
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Experience in perioperative nursing and anesthesia care
