Key Responsibilities:
As a Patient Care Transport Specialist, your primary duties will include:
- Safely and promptly transporting patients, medical equipment, and related items to designated locations.
- Ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during transport, including securing IVs and other medical devices.
- Communicating effectively with healthcare staff to coordinate patient movements and address any concerns.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy while interacting with patients and their families.
- Reporting any signs of patient distress or equipment issues to nursing staff immediately.
- Adhering to all regulatory standards and facility policies, including confidentiality and patient rights.
- Performing additional duties as assigned to support the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
While previous experience in customer service is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates should possess a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
