Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing direct patient care and transportation as needed
  • Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate medical care, including administering medications and performing procedures
  • Operate emergency vehicles and equipment, including ambulances and medical equipment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records and reports
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a Paramedic in the State of Texas
  • CPR certification
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training
  • Valid Texas driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 125 lbs. independently
  • Customer service skills

Work Schedule

This position can work a variety of schedules, including 8-hour shifts, 12-hours shifts, 24-hour shifts, and 48-hour shifts. We can accommodate a set school schedule, allowing you to balance your work and education responsibilities.
