Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at ProMedica. As a staff LPN, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents while also supervising nursing personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and coordinate care delivery to ensure resident needs are met
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing wound care
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and address any concerns or issues that may arise
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, including progress notes and medication administration records
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience as an LPN, with a focus on gerontological nursing and dementia care
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license
  • Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment, and to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods, and to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 20 pounds, unassisted
