Job Summary

The Cage Cashier is a key member of the Caesars Entertainment team, responsible for providing exceptional service to internal and external guests. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide superior service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cash Handling
    • Process cash transactions, including cashing tickets, chips, and providing change.
    • Count and record assigned funds, making exchanges as needed.
    • Ensure cash drawers are balanced and secured when not in use.
  • Security and Compliance
    • Verify and document personal identification information for checks and cash advance transactions.
    • Comply with all company standard operating procedures, gaming regulations, and federal regulations, including Title 31 compliance.
  • Guest Services
    • Issue player cards for new and existing accounts, explaining benefits and perks associated with Caesars Rewards.
    • Provide guests with information on events and promotions at Caesars Entertainment properties.
  • Training and Development
    • Complete all company-required training within designated time frames.
    • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service or cash handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
