Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the ongoing assessment of both short-term and long-term financial strategies.
  • Take an active role in creating, executing, and sustaining a detailed job cost management system.
  • Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, consolidation, and reporting processes for the organization.
  • Coordinate the creation of financial statements and management analysis for the Corporation.
  • Establish and nurture communication channels with the investment community.
  • Act as the financial authority with a strong focus on improving business outcomes.
  • Conduct monthly evaluations of Pro Forma results to monitor project performance and provide recommendations to align with expectations.
  • Collaborate with the President of Real Estate to develop a long-term strategic plan, setting ambitious goals and identifying initiatives to achieve them.
  • Represent Real Estate Finance in various cross-departmental project teams.
  • Engage with owners, development teams, equity partners, lenders, and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Manage the preparation of applications for equity and debt transactions related to projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or real estate; a Master's degree, CPA, or CFA is preferred.
  • Five to ten years of experience analyzing residential and commercial real estate markets.
  • Five to ten years of industry experience in residential and commercial development, covering acquisition, entitlements, and construction.
  • Proven ability to identify and analyze key drivers in the real estate market and effectively communicate findings.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license may be required.

Compensation: $300,000 - $350,000 per year
