About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures to diagnose and treat vascular diseases. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures to diagnose and treat vascular diseases, including carotid, peripheral, and abdominal imaging.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images and provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and diagnoses.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest ultrasound technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification in Vascular Sonography.
  • 1-2 years of experience in vascular sonography.
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
