CoreCivic is seeking an experienced Intake Coordinator, Community Corrections to coordinate the intake of new clients and residents during the admissions process. This role is responsible for assisting new clients/residents to become familiar with facility processes and policies, and providing new resident orientation within required time-frames. The Intake Coordinator will also coordinate the referral process and assist external agencies regarding space availability. Additionally, they will be responsible for the proper implementation and compliance with company policies, procedures, processes, and standards within the day-to-day performance of assigned duties. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Corrections, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field, and strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience in Microsoft Office applications or other similar software applications is required. A valid driver's license is also required. The Intake Coordinator will work closely with the administration team to interpret or develop organizational and administrative policies, rules, and regulations. They will also maintain strong working relationships with external agencies, to include Department of State Health Services, contract monitors, and the courts to effectively communicate program requirements and space availability. The Intake Coordinator will coordinate with probation and substance abuse agencies for offender placements and maintain facility waiting lists.
