About the Role
As a Cardiovascular Registered Nurse in our Cath Lab, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our dynamic team, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and assessment needs during procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient experience for patients.
- Perform physiological recording and monitoring, analyzing data to inform patient care decisions.
- Function as a circulator during invasive procedures, operating equipment such as the Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and Temporary Permanent Pace Maker (PPM).
- Organize data for physician interpretation, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
- Assist with patient prep and recovery, providing education and support to patients and families.
- Perform stress tests and pacemaker follow-up checks, ensuring accurate results and effective patient care.
- Direct patient emergency procedures, responding quickly and accurately in emergency situations.
Requirements
- Current RN license issued by the state of Oregon.
- American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers, arrhythmia certification, and ACLS certification.
- 1 year RN experience, with 6 months (1000 hours) of cath lab, critical care, or emergency department experience within the last 3 years.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
