We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our team at Thrive Behavioral Health. As a Clinician, you will provide assessment evaluations, outpatient short-term psychotherapy, and linkage with community service agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial assessments and intake evaluations in clients' homes.
- Provide individual, couples, family, or group counseling within the scope of your competencies.
- Offer crisis intervention and develop recovery plans.
- Collaborate with other providers, agencies, insurance companies, and individuals in clients' networks of care.
- Provide relapse prevention, discharge planning, follow-up, and aftercare.
- Teach clients effective techniques for managing their medication as prescribed.
- Coordinate community resources, transportation for clients, and referrals to appropriate resources.
- Assist clients in developing and strengthening their support networks.
- Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation, and client records.
- Master's Degree in the human service field of social work or counseling preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with clients with disabilities preferred.
- Experience or training in related state and federal assistance programs also preferred.
- Basic computer literacy skills necessary.
- Licensed at an independent level (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) preferred.
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance meeting Rhode Island minimum standards law, or the ability to obtain necessary transportation, required for community-based positions.
