Job Summary

As a Meat Cutter at Winn-Dixie, you will be responsible for preparing and packaging food products to meet customer specifications. This includes processing fresh meats, smoked meats, seafood, and other products to production standards. You will also be responsible for properly wrapping, weighing, and pricing products, as well as cubing, slicing, and grinding meat to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner
  • Prepare and package food products to meet customer specifications
  • Process fresh meats, smoked meats, seafood, and other products to production standards
  • Properly wrap, weigh, and price products
  • Cube, slice, and grind meat to meet customer needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
