About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for engaging with members, providing assistance, and making recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist members by answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood, and prepare special cuts of meat ordered by members.
  • Cut, grind, and/or process fresh meats to company cutting standards.
  • Weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a meat cutting or butchery role preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
