Under the daily guidance of the General Manager, the Kitchen Associate is tasked with the preparation of all culinary items in a timely manner according to established standards, as well as maintaining cleanliness of utensils, cookware, and communal areas within the establishment.

Additionally, this role involves ensuring that the kitchen floor remains dry and free from any hazards.



Key Responsibilities:
1.

Food Preparation:
Prepare meals in accordance with specified guidelines.

2. Maintain Stock:
Ensure that the work station is adequately stocked before, during, and after service periods.

3. Station Setup:
Organize and set up cooking stations.

4. Cleanliness:
Keep the kitchen floor clear of debris and spills.

5. Work Area Maintenance:
Uphold cleanliness in the designated work area.

6. Dishwashing:
Wash dishes and dispose of waste appropriately.

7. Food Preparation Support:
Prepare dough and other ingredients for upcoming service periods.

Physical Demands:
1. The role requires a constant need (66%-100% of the time) to stand without support while cooking and cleaning.

2. Frequent walking (33%-66% of the time) around the kitchen is necessary.

3. Regular bending, stooping, and squatting (33%-66% of the time) are required for tasks such as retrieving items from lower shelves, cleaning floors and walls, and organizing storage.

4. Frequent pushing and pulling of equipment (33%-66% of the time) is necessary during cleaning tasks.

5. Regular reaching above shoulder height (33%-66% of the time) is required for accessing items stored overhead and for changing light bulbs.

6. Frequent gripping and grasping (33%-66% of the time) of glasses, serving plates, trays, and utensils is essential during food preparation.

7. Frequent finger dexterity (33%-66% of the time) is needed for tasks such as writing, gripping, cleaning, and operating switches.

8. Occasional operation of the dishwasher (1%-33% of the time) is required.

9. Occasional lifting and carrying of objects weighing between 75 and 51 pounds, with frequent handling of items weighing 50 pounds or less (33%-66% of the time).

Vision Requirements:
