Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Memory Care Assistant to join our team at The Arbors Assisted Living - NY. As a Memory Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and dignity of our residents with memory impairments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, as needed.
- Assist with managed incontinence programs, including toileting assistance and changing incontinence briefs.
- Check residents regularly to ensure their personal care needs are met.
- Assist with recreational activities, including leading activities and bringing residents to and from meals and events.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
