Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at MedCura Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and medical services to individuals, families, and groups, with a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic complaints related to specialty, adhering to standardized procedures.
  • Conduct thorough patient histories and physical exams, assessing normal and abnormal findings.
  • Order and furnish medications according to standardized procedures, with counter-signature from the supervising physician for non-formulary medications.
  • Perform designated procedures after demonstrating competency and adhering to standardized procedures.
  • Initiate arrangements for hospital admissions and discharges, completing necessary paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and community members from diverse backgrounds.
  • Recognize situations requiring immediate physician attention and initiate life-saving procedures when necessary.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in the State of Georgia.
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from a recognized organization.
  • Current Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course completion card.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
  • Desirable experience in community health centers or a high level of interest in community medicine.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
