This role requires a strong background in nursing, education, and quality improvement, with a focus on process improvement, patient outcomes, clinical education, program management, and leadership.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical education programs to enhance nursing practice and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address quality improvement opportunities.
- Conduct needs assessments and develop training programs to address knowledge gaps and skill deficits.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement policies and procedures that support quality improvement and patient safety.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to identify and address system-wide issues.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institution.
- Clinical Nurse Specialist certification through the California Board of Nursing.
- 3 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting or behavioral health.
- Experience in education and training, with a focus on adult learning theory and performance improvement strategies.
- Knowledge of quality metrics and action planning.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Nursing Professional Development Certification or certification in a specialty area of practice.
- Additional certifications may be required dependent on setting and service line.
This role is exempt from overtime and requires a 40-hour workweek. The work shift is 8 hours per day, with no waiver.
CompensationThe salary range for this role is $113.62 per hour, with offer amounts based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
