Key Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Perioperative Services department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Staff Management: Supervise and mentor a team of RNs, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to provide exceptional patient care.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Operational Efficiency: Analyze and optimize departmental workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Communication: Foster effective communication among team members, departments, and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program and possess a valid Colorado RN license or a valid multistate RN license through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a charge RN in a perioperative setting (circulator or Pre/PACU RN).
- Certifications: Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association).
