About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Care Professional to join our team at Dental Care Alliance. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following established protocols and procedures.
  • Assist patients with dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, and preparing them for procedures.
  • Provide information to patients and staff by answering questions and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and deliver instruments to treatment areas, position instruments for dentists, and suction as needed.
  • Provide materials to patients and dentists by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient's mouth.
  • Expose and develop radiographic studies, pour, trim, and polish study casts to provide diagnostic information.
  • Maintain patient appearance and ability to masticate by fabricating temporary restorations and cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
  • Help dentists manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions to promote healthy habits.
  • Document dental care services by charting in patient records to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Conserve dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

  • X-ray license
  • Experience working as a Dental Assistant or training from a formal Dental Assistant program
