Position Overview

Anchor Counseling is a dedicated private practice committed to delivering high-quality and accessible therapeutic services. We are seeking FULL-TIME master's level psychotherapists to enhance their clinical expertise within our supportive environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized, couples, and group therapy sessions to a minimum of 30 clients weekly, including evening and weekend availability.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and notes within 24 hours of each session.
  • Engage in weekly clinical supervision to foster professional growth.
  • Provide case management services, collaborating with referral sources to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Conduct brief phone consultations as needed.
  • Participate in self-marketing efforts to align your caseload with your professional aspirations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possesses a provisional license (LMSW, MHC-LP, or MFT) in New York.
  • Demonstrates a solid foundation in therapy with proven success in your chosen specialty.
  • Exhibits strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Available for client sessions on at least one weekend day, as well as early mornings and evenings.
  • Has a minimum of one year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic practice.
  • Shows experience in providing individual, couples, and/or family therapy.
  • Is organized and timely in submitting progress notes and responding to communications in accordance with company policies.
