Nursing Educator

Key Responsibilities:- Mentorship and Guidance: Provide academic support and guidance to students, serving as a role model and facilitator who fosters a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Teaching and Learning: Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and the teaching/learning process, applying your skills and experience to create engaging and effective learning experiences for students.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Participate in assessment activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of courses, curriculum, and programs through a shared governance culture.
- Scholarly Activities: Maintain a commitment to scholarly activities, advancing our focus on student success and the development of innovative teaching methodologies.
- Professional Growth and Service: Engage in professional growth and service, contributing to the university's mission and values through a student-centric approach.
- Education: Master's degree in nursing, with professional nurse licensure required.
- Experience: A minimum of two years' prior experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care, with a minimum of one year experience in the field in which they teach.
- Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS office products as needed, as well as experience working with online learning management systems.
