As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with potential customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead generation through proactive identification, approach, and securing of new business opportunities
  • Explore various channels, including chamber memberships, cold calls, emails, networking organizations, trade shows, and other company-provided opportunities to develop new leads weekly
  • Call on executive-level decision makers in a consultative sales role and communicate our value and how it differentiates our company
  • Research potential customers to get to know their business and identify client needs
  • Create proposals for customers with the assistance of a Technical Engineer
  • Follow up with customers to answer questions and close sales, providing our contracts for signature
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to assist our company in meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Track all sales activity in our CRM system and keep current by updating daily
  • Stay up-to-date on current trends in the IT industry to assist Solace in staying competitive
  • Report to the Customer Success Manager on established sales metrics (KPIs)
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role in the service industry
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Apollo, Zoho, Zomentum, Autotask)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics (KPIs)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the customer's needs
  • 5 years of experience in finding leads and closing sales in the service industry
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle required
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer
