About the Position

Mavis Tire Supply is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Assistant & Service Manager to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Lufkin, TX area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation of the repair shop, scheduling mechanics/technicians' work, ordering parts, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs exceeding customer expectations, the safety of personnel, and housekeeping of the shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and managing the work of mechanics/technicians
  • Ordering parts and materials
  • Ensuring quality and timely completion of jobs
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Providing excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales
  • 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance
  • Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
