Position Profile

Weaver is seeking a Private Client Services Tax Consultant to become part of our expanding firm. A Private Client Services Tax Consultant delivers federal tax compliance and strategic planning services to affluent individual clients and privately-held enterprises. This role involves close collaboration with firm leadership and plays a pivotal role in business development and firm administration tasks, including the training and mentoring of junior team members.

To excel in this position, the following qualifications are required:
  • CPA certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning, and consulting within a public accounting environment
  • Experience with high-net-worth individuals, privately-owned businesses, investment partnerships, estates, and trusts
Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:
  • Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Technical expertise sufficient to sell and execute engagements across various industries
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team
  • Strong relationship management and practice development capabilities
  • Ability to attract and service new clients while expanding offerings to existing clients
