Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse

El Paso Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Hematology/Oncology team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care to children with cancer and blood disorders. Your expertise will be essential in delivering comprehensive care, from diagnosis to treatment and beyond.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide direct patient care to pediatric hematology/oncology patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
* Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences
* Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care
* Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

**Requirements:**

* Current RN licensure in Texas
* BSN degree or higher
* Hematology/Oncology certification or in-process
* Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
* Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions

**Work Environment:**
