Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in a top healthcare facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury, and ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Position patients and coils on the table for scanning
  • Inject contrast media as required
  • Set technical parameters and observe image data on computer monitors
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines
  • Deliver quality patient care in a professional manner
  • Maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Valid state radiology registration
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
