Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to inpatient units, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Manage patient records, maintain accurate data, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve patient concerns and address any issues that may arise.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to improve patient satisfaction and experience.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an inpatient unit.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and data entry systems.
- Considerable knowledge of medical terminology and hospital policies.
- Previous experience as an inpatient clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
As an Inpatient Unit Coordinator, you will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be required to work a minimum of 32 hours per 4-week schedule block, with a requirement to work 16 hours on weekends per 4-week block. You will also be required to work two holidays per year.
