Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team at Jackmont Hospitality. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, mixing and serving a wide range of drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drink Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, and wines, to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest requests and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, restocking supplies and cleaning equipment as needed.
  • Upselling and Merchandising: Upsell guests on food and drink items, and merchandise drinks to increase sales.
  • Food Coordination: Coordinate food orders from guests seated in the bar area with the kitchen.
  • Menu Knowledge: Learn the menu and make recommendations to guests when appropriate.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other bartenders and bar staff to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift 30 lb. cases and carry short distances, up or down stairs.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to respond clearly to guests' requests and calmly respond to angry guests.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate the P.O.S. system, make change correctly, and make credit card transactions.
  • Qualifications: Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company-approved uniform at all times.
