Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing capture processes utilizing BPMN, pinpointing areas for enhancement, comprehending intricate business and IT solutions, and collaborating with stakeholder teams across both business and technical domains to create documentation and produce artifacts suitable for diverse audiences and stakeholders. This role will also involve leveraging enterprise architecture tools and methodologies to meet project objectives, facilitating requirements sessions with various business units, and providing operational support for Enterprise Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary delivery lead for client engagements.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s overarching strategy and your role in its realization.
  • Create tools and frameworks that promote alignment and informed decision-making with clients.
  • Design and architect project methodologies and solutions to fulfill client objectives.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of the client’s business and technical landscape.
  • Lead client discussions to foster clarity and resolution.
  • Document and analyze client processes and requirements, identify gaps, and contribute to deliverables.
  • Engage in client meetings to extract key insights and information.
  • Conduct business analysis to understand client priorities and challenges.
  • Evaluate client data to identify priorities, challenges, and opportunities, developing insights and deliverables.
  • Create future state business models to support project initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively and clearly with clients.
  • Translate client business needs into business requirements, use cases, and systems interaction diagrams.
  • Demonstrate project implementation skills using project management tools.
  • Apply best practices to design and implement future state business models.
  • Utilize collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Confluence, JIRA, etc.
  • Anticipate client needs to provide timely assistance.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain client relationships through proactive account management.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge development and offerings.
  • Understand the sales cycle and participate in proposal development.
  • Leverage expertise to identify and support new opportunities.
  • Develop strategic relationship plans to enhance current and prospective accounts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in developing enterprise architectures.
  • At least three (3) years of experience on Federal Government Enterprise architecture projects.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in modern software development methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of databases and data access methodologies.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Department of Treasury or other Federal Agencies.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) accredited by PMBOK/PMI.
  • Local candidates are preferred.

Special Skills/Knowledge/Training:

  • Certification in Enterprise Architecture, such as the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF), is preferred.
