Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CAT Scan Technician to join our team at Elgen Staffing. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and operating CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care by preparing patients for CT examinations, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
  • Operate CT scanning and display consoles to produce high-quality images, selecting appropriate settings to achieve optimal results.
  • Prepare and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, using sterile techniques when necessary.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to assist with procedures and ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Manage supplies and equipment in the CT room, maintaining a well-organized and efficient workspace.
  • Use McKesson PACs to charge and complete cases, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current ARRT certification and NJ State License.
