Salesforce Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Automation Specialist to join our team at Zocalo Recruiting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce administration, with a focus on building out automations and developing APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Salesforce platform, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.
- Create and manage user accounts, profiles, roles, and permissions.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and workflows.
- Design, build, and implement automated processes within Salesforce using tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Apex.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated processes.
- Develop and maintain custom APIs to integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications.
- Work with development teams to design and implement API strategies that align with business objectives.
- Monitor and manage API performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Oversee data migration, cleansing, and validation processes.
- Implement data governance best practices to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
- Provide ongoing support to Salesforce users, addressing technical issues and providing guidance on best practices.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to improve Salesforce adoption and efficiency.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Salesforce administration and API development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Proven experience in building automations using Process Builder, Flow, Apex, or similar tools.
- Strong background in developing and managing APIs, including RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Experience with data management, including data migration, cleansing, and validation.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform, including administration, customization, and development.
- Proficiency in Salesforce automation tools and API development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201).
- Experience with Salesforce integration tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
