We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team at SEKISUI Aerospace, Inc. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC equipment, including setup and monitoring machinery to produce composite parts.
Key Responsibilities- Machine Operation: Operate CNC equipment to produce composite parts, including setup and monitoring machinery.
- Tooling and Fixtures: Assemble cutting tools in holders, set cutter length, and position in machine spindles; select part holding fixtures and index part as needed to machine as required.
- Quality Control: Monitor machines while the task is executed and make any necessary adjustments to produce the desired result; inspect final parts and notify supervisor of any discrepancies.
- Maintenance: Clean machine, tooling, and parts; perform basic machine maintenance.
- Manufacturing Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- CNC Experience: Previous experience or training using 3 and 5-axis CNC routing machines a plus.
- Physical Demands: Exposure to loud sounds, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting, handling objects up to 50 pounds.
