About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to improve patients' communication abilities.
  • Evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as needed to maximize patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and complete necessary notes, charges, and discharge documents.
  • Consult with the Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director to determine patient placement and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Speech Pathologist licensure and certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field.
