Job Overview

The Sunset Marquis is seeking a skilled Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to guest needs and requests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Efficiently receive and input orders, communicating special requests to the kitchen.
  • Follow the sequence of service process, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
  • Maintain knowledge of state liquor regulations and adhere to proper cash handling and credit procedures.
  • Assist with in-house events setup, breakdown, and service as needed.
  • Abide by all control, regulations, laws, and procedures related to food/alcohol service, safety, and sanitation.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum 3-5 years related experience.
  • Luxury hotel/fine dining experience is preferred.
  • High volume, fast-paced work environment experience preferred.
  • Micros experience is a plus.
  • Food Handlers card is required.
  • Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification is a required.
  • Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification is a required.
  • Proficient in English- verbal and written.
  • Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Compensation: $19.61 + tips
