Job Title: Server PT

StepStone Hospitality is seeking a Part Time Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests warmly and assist with seating as needed.
  • Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations on food, service, and wine pairings.
  • Memorize menu items and daily specials, and be familiar with ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, using a point of sale system to relay orders to the kitchen and service bar.
  • Observe guests to fulfill additional requests and perceive when meals are complete for checkout.
  • Total bills and accept payment, or refer guests to the cashier.
  • Clear and reset counters and tables after each course, and assist with cleaning and sanitizing service areas and prep areas.
  • Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints.
  • Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures, and maintain and follow all cash handling procedures.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, and manual dexterity.
  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Flexibility with schedule and ability to adjust to business needs.
