Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Northern Virginia. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions to protect our customers' systems and data.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, engineering, or information technology, with extensive experience in network security concepts, controls, and implementations. You will work closely with our development team to deploy network software and improve existing systems, ensuring the highest level of performance, reliability, and security.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cybersecurity solutions to protect customer systems and data.
  • Develop and maintain threat detection and incident response plans.
  • Apply cybersecurity firmware updates and patches to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Establish guidelines for secure system management practices.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity training programs for employees.
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearances with polygraph, recent BI and polygraph within the last five years or ability to successfully complete required security processing.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, or related major, or documented work experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in computer science, engineering, information technology, or information systems.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with computers and network security concepts, controls, and implementations.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Powershell, Python, etc.
Compensation

$160,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
