Cybersecurity Specialist
At KBR, we are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our National Security Solutions team. This position will be responsible for providing security testing and evaluation, risk and vulnerability assessments, and policy and procedure analysis. Our ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of cloud computing, digital communications, and continuous monitoring. The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

This position will involve working closely with government agencies to provide high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to support national security efforts. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that make a significant impact on the country's most critical role – protecting our national security.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Security Testing and Evaluation: Prepares security test and evaluation plans
  • Risk and Vulnerability Assessments: Provides certification and accreditation support in the development of security and contingency plans and conducts complex risk and vulnerability assessments
  • Policy and Procedure Analysis: Analyzes policies and procedures against Federal laws and regulations and provides recommendations for closing gaps
