Job Title: Route Driver

Join Mr. John of Pittsburgh, a family-owned and operated business, as a Route Driver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our portable restroom units.

Responsibilities:
  • Service and relocate portable toilets at various locations and job sites
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including evacuating holding tanks, recharging receptacles, cleaning interiors, and replenishing supplies
  • Collect customer signatures and maintain accurate daily logs
  • Work closely with Operations to receive instructions and report any safety issues
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies to ensure roadworthiness
  • Complete thorough and timely pre- and post-trip DVIRs
  • Report any safety hazards, roadside incidents, or customer complaints in a timely manner
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires or installing light bulbs
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to shift, lift, and push pounds throughout the day
  • Detail-oriented and excellent customer service skills
  • One or more years of experience in a service-related role with problem-solving skills
