Position Summary:
Quixote Studios LLC, a leading entity in the film and television production industry, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to enhance our accounting team. This role is crucial for supporting the collections process across various customer accounts. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong initiative and problem-solving capabilities in a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department.
- Input financial data into the Microsoft NAV accounting system and maintain internal records.
- Engage directly with clients to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Document, verify, and process payments received by the organization.
- Maintain and reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure prompt and accurate payment processing.
- Collaborate with sales and billing teams to rectify any discrepancies in billing.
- Investigate and resolve client inquiries in a timely manner.
- Generate periodic statements for customers.
- Update customer master files with relevant contact details.
- Provide support in other accounting areas as required.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable is preferred.
- At least 2 years in a customer service capacity is advantageous.
- Proficiency in NAV, MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook/Gmail is preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to anticipate needs and adapt to a dynamic, high-volume setting.
- Dependable, professional demeanor with sound judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Candidates must be willing to undergo a criminal background check.
