Radiology/Imaging Specialist

As an Echocardiography Technician at UnityPoint Iowa Lutheran Hospital, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound devices to create images of the heart. Your duties will include inspecting the heart's chambers and walls, as well as the valves. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate ultrasound devices to create images of the heart
• Inspect the heart's chambers and walls, as well as the valves
• Work effectively with patients and medical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
Requirements:
• Completion of a post-secondary training program in diagnostic medical sonography
• Certification as an Echocardiography Technician
• Excellent communication and technical skills
