About the Position

UW-Stout invites applications for a Mechanical Engineering Faculty position. The successful candidate will teach in various areas, including mechanical engineering sub-disciplines, and contribute to academic program assessment.

Job Description:

  • Teach up to 24 credits/year in standard mechanical engineering sub-disciplines and Capstone Project/Senior Design project.
  • Establish and maintain laboratories and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain contacts with industry and professional associations.
  • Provide student academic advisement and conduct assessment of student learning.
  • Contribute to academic program assessment and aid in maintaining program accreditation.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field by employment start date.
  • Interest in advancing student learning in the area of engineering.
