Job Summary

RMC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Administrator to support IT operations at NSWC Crane. The selected candidate will design, implement, and maintain network architecture and infrastructure to ensure seamless RDT&E network support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain network architecture and infrastructure, including installation, testing, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Configure and manage network devices, including F5 services, Cisco Identity Services Engine, and network mapping tools.
  • Provide network configuration and documentation, including network drawings and hardware/software lists.
  • Ensure services, configurations, and infrastructure conform to all applicable SLAs, MOA/MOUs, and Design Documents.
  • Implement security procedures, resolve hardware and software interface and interoperability problems.
  • Manage system resources, including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field is preferred.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in network design, administration, procedures, and troubleshooting is required.
  • The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level III Certification (CASP +) and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments.
Security Clearance

An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
