Position Overview at Buckle LLC: Retail Support Associate

The Retail Support Associate is integral to providing an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. This role encompasses various sales assistance tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.

Core Responsibilities
This section outlines the primary duties typically performed by Associates in this position. It is not exhaustive of all tasks, responsibilities, or qualifications.
  • Greet customers with a friendly attitude, prepared to assist with inquiries regarding the store and its offerings.
  • Exhibit flexibility in scheduling, which may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and busy holiday seasons.
  • Handle customer transactions efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system and package purchases appropriately.
  • Stay updated on current promotions, sales events, payment options, and security measures within the store.
  • Recognize and address security concerns and theft, applying suitable prevention and response strategies.
  • Assist the Operations Manager and/or Visual Merchandiser in organizing displays, arranging merchandise, managing pricing updates, and transfers.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and shopper-friendly store atmosphere to maintain Buckle's service excellence.
  • Comply with Buckle's Code of Ethics along with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while fostering a positive team environment to achieve the company's objectives.
  • Participate in special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Supervision Structure

This role does not include supervising other team members.

Qualifications and Experience

No previous experience or formal training is necessary.

Physical Demands

The physical requirements outlined here represent the essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.

While performing duties, the Associate will frequently need to stand, walk, handle items, reach, climb, bend, kneel, and communicate effectively. They should also be capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs throughout the store and stockroom. Visual requirements include both close and distant vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
