The Retail Support Associate is essential in providing an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. This role encompasses various sales assistance tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.

Primary Responsibilities
This section outlines the typical duties performed by individuals in this position. It does not cover all tasks, responsibilities, or qualifications.
  • Greet customers warmly with a friendly attitude, prepared to answer questions regarding the store and its offerings.
  • Exhibit flexibility in working hours, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and busy holiday seasons.
  • Handle customer transactions utilizing the Point of Sale (POS) system and package their purchases effectively.
  • Stay updated on current promotions, sales, payment options, and store security measures.
  • Recognize and address security concerns and theft incidents, applying suitable prevention and response strategies.
  • Assist the Operations Manager and/or Visual Merchandiser in creating displays, organizing fixtures, managing price changes, and transfers.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and shopper-friendly store environment to maintain Buckle's service excellence.
  • Comply with Buckle's Code of Ethics along with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while fostering a positive team atmosphere to achieve the company's objectives.
  • Participate in special projects and other tasks as assigned.
Supervision

This role does not include supervising other team members.

Qualifications and Experience

No previous experience or formal training is necessary.

Physical Demands

While performing duties, the Associate will frequently need to stand, walk, handle items, reach, climb, bend, kneel, and communicate. They should also be capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs throughout the store and stockroom. Visual acuity requirements include both close and distant vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

This position primarily operates within a retail store setting. The ambient noise level is generally moderate.
