Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Estimating Division at Fry Reglet is committed to delivering precise and prompt cost assessments for the company's Engineered Products. This division is vital in providing high-quality data to both external and internal stakeholders.

Primary Duties:

  • Examine and interpret project documentation to create accurate cost estimates
  • Verify that project scope corresponds with Fry Reglet's offerings and capabilities
  • Recognize production elements that influence product pricing
  • Collaborate with clients to collect comprehensive project information
  • Generate material and cost projections to optimize project profitability
  • Assist project managers with Requests for Information (RFIs) and modifications
  • Communicate promptly regarding project status and suggestions
  • Engage with the design community to grasp project specifications
  • Promote ongoing enhancements in operational processes

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in cost estimation within the building products or construction sectors
  • Familiarity with estimating tools such as Procore or Planswift
  • Capability to read and analyze project documents and schematics
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities
  • Customer-focused approach and team collaboration skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or an associate degree with relevant experience
  • Experience in metal fabrication is advantageous
