  • Evaluate patients to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction, and develop personalized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to promote patient independence, mobility, and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between treatment phases.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques, strategies, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure timely discharge from occupational therapy services.
  • Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and certification in occupational therapy or foreign-trained equivalent.
  • Current California Occupational Therapy License or license eligibility letter prior to the first day of employment.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
