Pharmacist Full Time Days and Evenings Variable Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Morton Hospital. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
Key Responsibilities:- Fills orders with accuracy and checks technician-prepared products before release
- Maintains security of pharmacy and controlled substances
- Enters orders and patient information with accuracy
- Aids in the training of new staff and updates the Director on daily activities
- Assists the Director in maintaining the pharmacy
- Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE)
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred
- One to two years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Hospital pharmacy residency preferred
- Very good drug knowledge base including pharmacokinetics, dosing, and nutritional support
- Working computer knowledge
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written
- Current MA Pharmacist License
