About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deli Manager to lead our deli operations and drive culinary excellence. As a Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our deli department, including managing a team of deli staff, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Take charge of the deli's daily operations, including managing inventory, scheduling, and staff performance.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of enthusiastic deli staff, providing constructive feedback and motivation to drive excellence.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our food service areas meet the highest standards of health and cleanliness, and provide excellent customer service to our customers.
  • Financial Management: Wisely manage key cost expense lines, keeping us financially healthy, and deliver timely and accurate store reports to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Age and Education: At least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the food service industry, preferably in a management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications: A whiz with numbers, comfortable with basic math, and preferably experienced in inventory management, scheduling, and staff development.
