Cafeteria Service Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated General Mess Attendant to provide essential support within our cafeteria services. This role is designed for individuals with a documented disability, and successful candidates will benefit from tailored case management services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently bus and clean dining hall tables, seats, and booths.
  • Operate the dishwasher, managing the loading and unloading of dishes and utensils.
  • Replenish dishes and utensils for guest use.
  • Maintain cleanliness at fountain dispensing stations.
  • Transport prepared food items from the kitchen to serving areas.
  • Serve food items to patrons from designated serving stations.
  • Ensure all facility floors are kept clean and orderly.
  • Prepare serving lines prior to scheduled meal times.
  • Maintain condiment and beverage dispensers as required.
  • Assist with receiving and storing vendor food deliveries.
  • Perform janitorial duties, including vacuuming, mopping, and restocking restrooms.

Work Schedule and Benefits

This position operates Monday through Friday for a total of 20 hours per week. Employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance fully covered by the employer.
  • 11 paid Federal holidays.
  • Two weeks of paid vacation after one year of service.
  • 56 hours of sick leave annually.
