Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective installation, operation, and upkeep of fire sprinkler systems. Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting thorough inspections, testing, and system evaluations.
  • Identifying system deficiencies and generating precise inspection reports.
  • Performing routine preventative maintenance on fire suppression systems.
  • Executing service and inspections on wet, dry, and pre-action fire suppression systems.
  • Installing, maintaining, repairing, or replacing fire sprinkler equipment in strict compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Servicing wet-based fire sprinkler systems.
  • Installing or upgrading fire sprinklers in both commercial and residential settings.
  • Conducting inspections to verify that alarms are installed per code.
  • Completing detailed inspection reports, documenting issues, and reporting results in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining and protecting company equipment.

Equipment Management:
Inspect and maintain the service vehicle and all associated equipment, submitting repair requests as needed to ensure safe operation. Operate warehouse equipment, including vehicles, in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer instructions.

Safety Compliance:
Work in accordance with company safety protocols, including driver safety and the use of personal protective equipment.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with fire sprinkler systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with both commercial and residential systems.
- A clean driving record and reliable transportation are essential.
- Flexibility in scheduling is required, with occasional evening, weekend, and out-of-town assignments.
- Knowledge of fire safety principles and practices is necessary.
- Ability to review official documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Skills in recognizing and reporting deviations through inspection programs.
- Proficiency in using or repairing small/light equipment, such as power tools and ladders.

Physical Requirements:
The role demands physical abilities including balancing, climbing, grasping, hearing, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, repetitive motion, speaking, and visual acuity.
