We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with physicians and other disciplines to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Job Summary

The RN provides nursing care to patients in compliance with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act, Standards of Practice, and defined by ANA, ENA, BSBHS, and organization protocols, policies, procedures, and guidelines. Develops, implements, evaluates, and revises plan of care based on physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs of the patient/family.

Collaborates with staff, physicians, and other disciplines to provide quality care delivery. Maintains clinical knowledge and skills competency to facilitate patient care in accordance with current standards of practice. Provides for a safe patient care environment.

Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
  • Current RN licensure with Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State, if resident of that state
  • Minimum 2 years Nursing Experience specific to Emergency Services or 3-5 years of other acute care experience preferred
  • BLS required
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire
  • PALS and Hazmat within one year of hire
  • Certification in Emergency Nursing Preferred
Unit Details

The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center features 17,000 square feet of state-of-the-art design with technology and amenities for emergency care. Patients and visitors will immediately see a larger, brighter space with a comfortable waiting room. Twenty-nine spacious, well-lit private treatment rooms are appointed throughout the space, with the providers' station positioned front and center.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $35.00-$54.82 per hour, based on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
